snow day cancelation info
We go by the public school in terms of whether or not we close on snowy days, so if public schools are running, we run our classes. If public schools close for the day due to snow, so do we.
If it is especially treacherous and you prefer to skip class and do an extra make up, we will allow you to take an extra make up free of charge.

Musical Birthday Parties!
Make your child's b-day a birthday to remember
with a Musical Birthday Party!
We have been offering Musical Birthday Parties to NYC families for over eight years.
A party includes:
· a half hour-40 minute music session led by either Rene or Chava Collins
· specially selected favorite songs of your child's
· plus a few songs everyone will know well and be able to easily sing along to.
We bring:
· eggz shakers or rhythm sticks
· jam along instruments
· scarves for the dance-along
What to expect:
The Musical Birthday Party is designed to get everyone singing and dancing! Each child's name will be sung in the opening song and there will be small movement songs, big movement songs, songs with instruments (eggz, sticks, drums) as well as a free form dance-along. We end with a lead-in to the cake and "Happy Birthday" song for smooth, fun transition!
